Another lazy night
ceiling fan spinnin’
guess it’s time to take flight
when I was a kid
I would look up at the stars
not the type that drive
around this town in fancy cars
or the type that you see
when you drink too much at bars
now that I’m grown
I keep my childish ways in mind

that I seek
but cannot find
